Article R6123-114 of the French Public Health Code

The burns treatment facility provides ongoing assistance to establishments authorised to carry out the emergency medical care activities referred to in article R. 6123-1 with a view to establishing the diagnosis of patients with burns treated in an emergency and organising, where necessary, their referral to a burns treatment facility.

The holder of the major burns treatment authorisation and the establishments authorised to carry out the emergency medical care activities provided for in article R. 6123-1 sign the agreement provided for in article R. 6123-32-2 in order to organise the direct and immediate care of major burns patients who require it in the major burns treatment facility.

La structure de traitement des grands brûlés apporte en permanence son concours aux établissements autorisés à pratiquer l’activité de soins de médecine d’urgence mentionnée à l’article R. 6123-1 en vue d’établir le diagnostic relatif aux patients atteints de brûlures pris en charge en urgence et d’organiser, le cas échéant, leur orientation vers une structure de traitement des grands brûlés.

Le titulaire de l’autorisation de traitement des grands brûlés et les établissements autorisés à pratiquer les activités de soins de médecine d’urgence prévues à l’article R. 6123-1 concluent la convention prévue à l’article R. 6123-32-2 afin d’organiser la prise en charge directe et immédiate des grands brûlés qui le nécessitent dans la structure de traitement des grands brûlés.
