The “interventional rhythmology” modality comprises the following entries:
1° Option A, comprising, in adults, interventional diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and procedures for fitting single and dual chamber pace makers with leads;
2° Option B, comprising, in adults, in addition to the procedures authorised in option A, procedures for right atrial and atrioventricular ablation, and for fitting defibrillators and multisite pacemakers;
3° Category C, including, in addition to the procedures authorised under category B, atrial ablation procedures with a transeptal approach, ventricular ablation procedures and all rhythmology procedures performed on children without complex congenital cardiopathy;
4° Category D, including, in addition to the procedures authorised under category C, procedures with a high risk of cardiac or vascular injury and rhythmology procedures performed on patients with complex congenital cardiopathy.
II.The “congenital cardiopathies excluding rhythmology” modality comprises the following entries:
1° Entry A, comprising procedures for the management of inter-atrial septal defects, closure of the ductus arteriosus, dilatation of pulmonary valve stenosis, diagnostic catheterisation for congenital cardiopathies;
2° Option B, including, in addition to the procedures authorised in option A, any dilatation procedure, any stent or intracardiac device placement, any procedure on the atrial or ventricular septum.
