Article R615-2 of the French Consumer Code

The members of the commission are appointed by order of the Minister for the Economy for a renewable term of three years, on the recommendation of the Vice-President of the Conseil d’Etat in the case of the Conseiller d’Etat and on the recommendation of the First President of the Cour de Cassation in the case of the Conseiller à la Cour de Cassation. The chairman and vice-chairman of the commission are chosen from among the members mentioned in 1° and 2° of article R. 615-1, by order of the Minister for the Economy.

Article R615-2

Les membres de la commission sont nommés par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie pour une durée de trois ans renouvelable, sur proposition du vice-président du Conseil d’Etat pour le conseiller d’Etat et sur proposition du premier président de la Cour de cassation pour le conseiller à la Cour de cassation.
Des suppléants sont désignés en nombre égal et dans les mêmes formes.
Le président et le vice-président de la commission sont choisis, parmi les membres mentionnés aux 1° et 2° de l’article R. 615-1, par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie.
