Where membership is with the professional, the consumer informs the requesting association or, where there is more than one association, the one he has chosen pursuant to the first paragraph.

Article R623-18

En cas de pluralité d’associations requérantes, le consommateur manifeste son adhésion auprès de l’association de son choix ou l’en informe en cas d’adhésion auprès du professionnel. L’association concernée reçoit ainsi mandat aux fins d’indemnisation.
Lorsque l’adhésion est faite auprès du professionnel, le consommateur en informe l’association requérante ou, en cas de pluralité d’associations, celle qu’il a choisie en application du premier alinéa.
