Article 2233 of the French Civil Code

Prescription does not run:

1° In respect of a claim which depends on a condition, until the condition arrives;

2° In respect of an action in warranty, until the eviction takes place;

3° In respect of a claim with a term, until that term has arrived.

La prescription ne court pas :

1° A l’égard d’une créance qui dépend d’une condition, jusqu’à ce que la condition arrive ;

2° A l’égard d’une action en garantie, jusqu’à ce que l’éviction ait lieu ;

3° A l’égard d’une créance à terme, jusqu’à ce que ce terme soit arrivé.
