Article D2223-124 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Only candidates who have passed the theoretical tests for the national thanatopractor diploma examination and are ranked in useful order may enter the practical training.

A joint order of the Minister for the Interior and the Minister for Health sets the annual quota of places offered for practical training, after consulting the national thanatopractor jury and the professional organisations mentioned in 3° of article R. 1241-1.

Peuvent seuls accéder à la formation pratique les candidats ayant été reçus aux épreuves théoriques en vue de l’examen d’obtention du diplôme national de thanatopracteur et classés en rang utile.

Un arrêté conjoint du ministre de l’intérieur et du ministre chargé de la santé fixe annuellement le contingent de places offertes pour la formation pratique, après avis du jury national de thanatopracteur et des organisations professionnelles mentionnées au 3° de l’article R. 1241-1.
