The full and alternate members of the national jury responsible for examining candidates for the national thanatopractor diploma are appointed for a period of three years by joint order of the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for Health.
This jury is made up of a representative of the Minister for the Interior, a representative of the Minister for Health, three forensic doctors, anatomopathologists or university medical teachers participating or having participated in the theoretical teaching mentioned in Article D. 2223-122 and six thanatopractitioners.
The same order appoints the chairman of the national jury for three years from among the members of the college of university medical teachers or qualified persons.
In addition, thanatopractor members must be appointed as practical training assessors by the national committee for assessing the practical training of thanatopractors referred to in article D. 2223-123.
