Article D2223-55-7 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Masters of ceremonies, funeral advisors and the like and the directors or managers of authorised undertakings, régies or associations who are nationals of a Member State of the European Union or of a State party to the European Economic Area are deemed to satisfy the requirement to hold a diploma as laid down in article L. 2223-25-1 when they have obtained recognition of their professional qualification under the conditions set out in articles L. 2223-48 to L. 2223-51.

Les maîtres de cérémonie, les conseillers funéraires et assimilés et les dirigeants ou gestionnaires des entreprises, régies ou associations habilitées, ressortissants d’un Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou d’un Etat partie à l’Espace économique européen sont réputés satisfaire à l’obligation de détenir un diplôme telle que prévue à l’article L. 2223-25-1 lorsqu’ils ont obtenu la reconnaissance de leur qualification professionnelle dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 2223-48 à L. 2223-51.
