Article D412-7-1 of the French Consumer Code

I.-The indication provided for in Article L. 412-7 is one of the following:

-” For optimal tasting, ” before the indication of the date of minimum durability under the conditions laid down in 1 of Annex X to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011;

-” This product may be consumed after this date” or any statement with an equivalent meaning for the consumer, in the visual field of the indication of the aforementioned date of minimum durability;

-A combination of the two aforementioned statements.

II.-The indication provided for in I shall be presented under the conditions laid down in Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.

III.-This article shall apply to foodstuffs manufactured and marketed on national territory.

Article D412-7-1

I.-La mention prévue par l’article L. 412-7 est l’une des suivantes :

-“ Pour une dégustation optimale, ” avant l’indication de la date de durabilité minimale dans les conditions prévues au 1 de l’annexe X du règlement (UE) n° 1169/2011 ;

-“ Ce produit peut être consommé après cette date ” ou toute mention au sens équivalent pour le consommateur, dans le champ visuel de l’indication de la date de durabilité minimale susmentionnée ;

-La combinaison des deux mentions précitées.

II.-La mention prévue au I est présentée dans les conditions prévues à l’article 13 du règlement (UE) n° 1169/2011.

III.-Le présent article est applicable aux denrées alimentaires fabriquées et commercialisées sur le territoire national.
