Article L224-47-1 of the French Consumer Code

I.-The operator mentioned in the first paragraph of Article L. 224-43 provides, in the cases provided for in II of Article L. 224-46, to suspend access to the number and, where applicable, to terminate the contract in the event of a repeat occurrence under the conditions set out in III of the same article L. 224-46.

II.-.In the event that the operator mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 224-43 does not take the actions provided for in I of this article, any supplier of a voice communications service, within the meaning of 7° of article L. 32 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code, may, after informing the co-contracting operator, suspend its subscribers’ access to the value-added number or numbers concerned and, in the event of a repeat occurrence, to all the numbers of the value-added product or service provider in question.

Article L224-47-1

I.-L’opérateur mentionné au premier alinéa de l’article L. 224-43 procède, dans les cas prévus au II de l’article L. 224-46, à la suspension de l’accès au numéro et, le cas échéant, à la résiliation du contrat en cas de réitération dans les conditions prévues au III du même article L. 224-46.

II.-Dans le cas où l’opérateur mentionné au premier alinéa de l’article L. 224-43 ne procède pas aux actions prévues au I du présent article, tout fournisseur d’un service de communications vocales, au sens du 7° de l’article L. 32 du code des postes et des communications électroniques, peut suspendre, après en avoir informé l’opérateur cocontractant, l’accès de ses abonnés au numéro ou aux numéros à valeur ajoutée concernés et, en cas de réitération, à tous les numéros du fournisseur de produit ou de service à valeur ajoutée en cause.
