Article L224-56 of the French Consumer Code

No sum may be charged to the consumer for a call from mainland France, the overseas departments and regions and the territorial collectivities of Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon to a telephone service where the consumer has been informed, in any form whatsoever, that the call to that service is free of charge.

The provisions of this article are applicable to any company offering, directly or through a third party, a service accessible by a voice communications service.

Aucune somme ne peut être facturée au consommateur pour un appel depuis le territoire métropolitain, les départements et régions d’outre-mer et les collectivités territoriales de Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin et Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon à un service téléphonique lorsqu’il lui a été indiqué, sous quelque forme que ce soit, que l’appel à ce service est gratuit.


Les dispositions du présent article sont applicables à toute entreprise proposant, directement ou par l’intermédiaire d’un tiers, un service accessible par un service de communications vocales.
