Article L330-4 of the French Civil Aviation Code

In the event of an air transport activity being carried out by a company that has not been duly authorised, the Minister responsible for civil aviation may, on expiry of a period of eight days following formal notice served on the company, sequestrate the aircraft used.

En cas d’exercice d’une activité de transport aérien par une entreprise non régulièrement autorisée, le ministre chargé de l’aviation civile pourra prononcer, à l’expiration d’un délai de huit jours suivant une mise en demeure notifiée à cette entreprise, la mise sous séquestre des appareils utilisés.
