Article R112-1 of the French Sports Code

The public establishments mentioned in this chapter participate in the implementation of the policy defined by the Minister for Sport. They are placed under the supervision of the Minister and, unless otherwise stipulated, are constituted as public administrative establishments.

Performance contracts signed with the Minister for Sport determine the national objectives set for each establishment.

Les établissements publics mentionnés dans le présent chapitre participent à la mise en oeuvre de la politique définie par le ministre chargé des sports. Ils sont placés sous sa tutelle et constitués, sauf dispositions contraires, sous la forme d’établissements publics à caractère administratif.

Des contrats de performance passés avec le ministre chargé des sports déterminent les objectifs nationaux fixés à chaque établissement.
