I.-The chairman and vice-chairman of the Haut Conseil de la santé publique and the chairman of a specialised commission or permanent technical committee receive a non-pensionable allowance, the amount of which is set by joint order of the ministers responsible for health and the budget, exclusive of the fees referred to in IV.
II.-In the event of loss of income resulting from their participation in the work of the High Council, lump-sum honoraria are paid to qualified persons who are members of the College, a specialised commission, a permanent technical committee or a temporary working group, as well as to external experts called upon by the High Council in order to compensate them. The procedures for awarding these fees and their amount are set by joint order of the ministers responsible for health and the budget.
III.-The State will reimburse the employers of the qualified persons who are members of the College, a specialised commission or a permanent technical committee, who so request, the remuneration or wages maintained to enable them to carry out their duties during working time, within the limits set by joint order of the ministers responsible for health and the budget, as well as the related benefits and social security charges.
IV.The qualified persons who are members of the High Council and the experts on a list drawn up by the Chairman of the High Council may be paid a fixed fee for the work they carry out.
These fixed fees, the procedures for which and the unit amounts of which are set by joint order of the ministers responsible for health and the budget, are awarded by the Director General of Health.
V.-The members of the High Council and the experts who take part in its work are entitled to travel and subsistence allowances under the conditions laid down by the regulations applicable to civil servants.
