Article R211-4 of the French Insurance Code

The contracts provided for in article L. 211-1 must specify the characteristics of trailers whose addition to a land motor vehicle does not constitute, within the meaning of articles L. 113-4 and L. 113-9, an increase in the risk covered by the contract insuring that vehicle.

Les contrats prévus à l’article L. 211-1 doivent spécifier les caractéristiques des remorques dont l’adjonction à un véhicule terrestre à moteur ne constitue pas, au sens des articles L. 113-4 et L. 113-9, une aggravation du risque couvert par le contrat garantissant ce véhicule.
