I. – An order of the Minister responsible for health, made after consultation with the High Council for Public Health, sets:
a) The list of transmissible infections that require immediate coffining in a sealed coffin, meeting the characteristics defined in Article R. 2213-27, and its closure;
b) The list of transmissible infections that require immediate coffining in a simple coffin, meeting the characteristics defined in article R. 2213-25, and its closure;
c) The list of transmissible infections for which, if they are suspected, an exception may be made, under the conditions laid down in article R. 2213-14, to the maximum time limit for transporting a body before committal, in order to allow a medical autopsy within the meaning of Article L. 1211-2 of the Public Health Code;
d) The list of transmissible infections requiring, where applicable, the placing in the coffin for the transport of the body if this takes place before the expiry of the period mentioned in article R. 2213-11 ;
e) The list of transmissible infections that prohibit the practice of conservation care.
II. – Conservation care may only be carried out at the home of the deceased:
1° Where the death occurred at the home of the deceased;
2° Where the régie, company or association and their establishments, authorised in accordance with Article L. 2223-23 constests by a visit or on the declaration of the family of the deceased, prior to the sale of the conservation care service, that the home of the deceased complies with the requirements set out in 3° of Article R. 2223-132.
