Article R2223-43 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Agents who coordinate the various ceremonies that take place from committal to burial or cremation of a deceased person must prove that they hold the diploma mentioned in article D. 2223-55-2, issued under the conditions defined in subparagraph 5 of this sub-section.

Les agents qui coordonnent le déroulement des diverses cérémonies qui ont lieu de la mise en bière jusqu’à l’inhumation ou la crémation d’un défunt doivent justifier de la détention du diplôme mentionné à l’article D. 2223-55-2, délivré dans les conditions définies au sous-paragraphe 5 de la présente sous-section.
