Article R2333-120-36 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Where a party is represented by a lawyer or by a lawyer at the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de cassation, the procedural acts, with the exception of the notification of the decision provided for in articles R. 2333-120-56 to R. 2333-120-63, shall be fulfilled only with regard to that agent.

The signing of applications and statements of case by one of these agents shall constitute constitution and election of an address for service with that agent.

Lorsqu’une partie est représentée par un avocat ou par un avocat au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation, les actes de procédure, à l’exception de la notification de la décision prévue aux articles R. 2333-120-56 à R. 2333-120-63, ne sont accomplis qu’à l’égard de ce mandataire.

La signature des requêtes et mémoires par l’un de ces mandataires vaut constitution et élection de domicile chez lui.
