Article R331-21 of the French Sports Code

On circuits, grounds or courses, areas reserved for spectators must be marked out by the technical organiser and comply with technical and safety regulations.

The technical organiser of the event provides the necessary human and material resources to inform spectators of the areas reserved for them and that access to any other area is strictly forbidden, in accordance with the detailed plans provided for in article R. 331-26 and the technical and safety rules.

Article R331-21

Sur les circuits, terrains ou parcours, des zones réservées aux spectateurs doivent être délimitées par l’organisateur technique et être conformes aux règles techniques et de sécurité.

L’organisateur technique de la manifestation met en œuvre les moyens humains et matériels nécessaires afin d’informer les spectateurs des zones qui leur sont réservées et de ce que l’accès à toute autre zone leur est strictement interdit, conformément aux plans détaillés prévus à l’article R. 331-26 et aux règles techniques et de sécurité.
