Apart from the case, punishable underarticle L. 411-7 of the Highway Code, of organising races of land motor vehicles on roads open to public traffic without authorisation, organising a concentration or event of land motor vehicles without the prior declaration or authorisation provided for in article R. 331-20 of this Code is punishable by the penalties laid down for fifth-class offences.
The same penalties apply to organisers who provide false information when making a declaration or applying for authorisation.
Failure by the organiser to comply with or ensure compliance with the requirements set out in the administrative authorisation issued to him shall be punishable by the penalties laid down for fifth-class offences.
Taking part in an unauthorised event involving the use of motor vehicles that was subject to authorisation under article R. 331-20 of this code is punishable by a third-class fine.
Any spectator at an event who contravenes the instructions provided by the technical organiser in accordance with article R. 331-21 and who implements the safety measures laid down pursuant to article R. 331-26 is liable to a fourth-class fine.
