Article R426-15 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national who meets the conditions for renewal of the temporary residence permit bearing the wording “young au pair” provided for in article L. 426-22 is issued with a permit for a period equal to that of the new agreement. The total period of residence on this basis may not exceed two years.

L’étranger qui remplit les conditions de renouvellement de la carte de séjour temporaire portant la mention ” jeune au pair ” prévue à l’article L. 426-22 se voit délivrer un titre pour une durée égale à celle de la nouvelle convention. La durée totale de séjour sous ce motif ne peut excéder deux années.
