Article R431-35 of the French Insurance Code

The available assets of the Fonds national de garantie des calamités agricoles are placed with the caisse centrale de réassurance in the assets mentioned in article R. 332-2. These assets are subject to the limitations set out in articles R. 332-3 and R. 332-3-1; however, for the purpose of calculating these limitations, the amount of each category of assets is added to the amount of the fund’s available assets.

Les avoirs disponibles du Fonds national de garantie des calamités agricoles sont placés sur la caisse centrale de réassurance en actifs mentionnés à l’article R. 332-2. Ces actifs sont soumis aux limitations prévues aux articles R. 332-3 et R. 332-3-1 ; toutefois, pour le calcul de ces limitations, le montant de chacune des catégories d’actifs est rapporté au montant des avoirs disponibles du fonds.
