Chapter I: Nature sports

The President of the Departmental Council is assisted by a Departmental Commission for Spaces, Sites and Itineraries for Nature Sports. This commission includes a representative of the departmental Olympic and Sports Committee, representatives of approved sports federations that organise nature sports, representatives of the professional groups concerned, representatives of approved environmental protection associations, local elected representatives and representatives of the State.

The commission helps to draw up the departmental plan for areas, sites and itineraries for nature sports, mentioned in article L. 311-3, and proposes agreements for its implementation. The composition and operating procedures of the commission are set by decision of the departmental council.
