In Paris, the Comité Départemental de l’Aide Médicale Urgente, de la Permanence des Soins et des Transports Sanitaires is co-chaired by the Director General of the Agence Régionale de Santé or his representative and by the Préfet de Police or his representative when the matters examined fall within the latter’s remit.
