Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations centralises fifty percent of the total deposits collected for the popular savings passbook account in the savings fund provided for in article L. 221-7.
Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations centralises fifty percent of the total deposits collected for the popular savings passbook account in the savings fund provided for in article L. 221-7.
To be authorised to open people’s savings passbook accounts, institutions authorised to receive deposits from the public must enter into an authorisation agreement with the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, acting both in its own name and on behalf of the State, in accordance with the standard agreements approved by the Minister for the Economy.
The authorisation agreements include an undertaking by these institutions and organisations to comply with the rules laid down in this sub-section. In particular, they specify the organisation of financial and accounting relations between Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and the authorised institutions, as well as the provisions designed to facilitate the monitoring of transactions and the provision of information to depositors.
The terms and conditions of remuneration for these establishments and bodies are set by order of the Minister for the Economy.
