The agreement is approved by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, after consulting the Departmental Medical Council.
The organisation of the medical call reception and regulation centre guarantees the practitioner’s professional independence and the patient’s freedom of choice, insofar as the patient is able to express it. The agreement may not preclude general duties towards patients under the code of medical ethics.
The medical call reception and regulation centre operates without interruption; it ensures a rapid and appropriate response to calls received. Doctors registered on the duty roster referred to in article R. 6315-2 remain available and keep the medical call reception and regulation centre informed of the start and end of each of their interventions.
