Pursuant to Article 73 of the Constitution, the provisions of this Code apply ipso jure in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion and Mayotte, subject to the provisions of the title devoted to these communities in the book relating to overseas France in each part.
The provisions of this Code apply ipso jure to Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, subject to the provisions of the titles devoted to each of these collectivities in the book relating to overseas France in each part.
The provisions of this Code are only applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and the French Southern and Antarctic Territories to the extent and under the conditions laid down in the titles devoted to each of these collectivities in the book relating to overseas territories in each part.
For the application of article L. 1330-1 to Saint-Barthélemy, the words: “article 346 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union” are replaced by the words: “the protection of the essential interests of its security and which relate to the production of or trade in arms, munitions and war material”.
