Article L224-25-6 of the French Consumer Code

Traders who offer, directly or through a third party, a supply of digital content or digital services may not make the conclusion or amendment of the terms of the contract governing that supply subject to the consumer’s acceptance of a clause requiring compliance with a minimum contract performance period of more than twenty-four months from the date of conclusion of the contract or its amendment.

Les professionnels qui proposent, directement ou par l’intermédiaire d’un tiers, une offre de fourniture de contenus numériques ou de services numériques, ne peuvent subordonner la conclusion ou la modification des termes du contrat qui régit cette fourniture à l’acceptation par le consommateur d’une clause imposant le respect d’une durée minimum d’exécution du contrat de plus de vingt-quatre mois à compter de la date de conclusion du contrat ou de sa modification.
