Article L3123-14 of the French Labour Code

The monthly working time of a part-time employee may not be reduced by more than one third by the use of the credit hours to which he is entitled for the exercise of mandates he holds within a company. Any balance of these paid hours may be used outside working hours.

Le temps de travail mensuel d’un salarié à temps partiel ne peut être réduit de plus d’un tiers par l’utilisation du crédit d’heures auquel il peut prétendre pour l’exercice de mandats qu’il détient au sein d’une entreprise. Le solde éventuel de ce crédit d’heures payées peut être utilisé en dehors des heures de travail de l’intéressé.
