Article R2122-23 of the French Labour Code

The decision of the Director General for Employment is notified within ten days from the date of receipt of the appeal to the applicant and, where applicable, to the person concerned.

If the Director General for Employment remains silent on expiry of the ten-day period referred to in the first paragraph, this will be deemed to constitute a rejection decision.

La décision du directeur général du travail est notifiée dans un délai de dix jours à compter de la date de réception du recours au requérant et, le cas échéant, à la personne concernée.

Le silence gardé par le directeur général du travail à l’expiration du délai de dix jours mentionné au premier alinéa vaut décision de rejet.
