Article R222-30 of the French Sports Code

When the interested party has sent the relevant delegating federation a declaration in accordance with the provisions of article R. 222-29, the sports agents’ commission shall issue him with a certificate stating that he is temporarily or occasionally exercising the activity of sports agent on national territory within a period of one month.

If the sports agents’ commission of the delegating federation considers, within a period of one month, that there is a substantial difference likely to hinder compliance with the obligations to which sports agents are subject in the conduct of the operations referred to in article L. 222-7, a reasoned notification shall be sent to the service provider. The Commission may verify whether the qualifications, skills and knowledge of the service provider that he has acquired in the course of his full-time or part-time or lifelong professional experience are such as to cover this difference. Where these cover the difference, the sports agents’ commission of the delegating federation issues a certificate in accordance with the procedures referred to in the first paragraph. Otherwise, the service provider may be offered an aptitude test.

Lorsque l’intéressé a adressé à la fédération délégataire compétente une déclaration conforme aux dispositions de l’article R. 222-29, la commission des agents sportifs lui délivre une attestation mentionnant un exercice temporaire ou occasionnel de l’activité d’agent sportif sur le territoire national dans un délai d’un mois.

Si la commission des agents sportifs de la fédération délégataire estime, dans un délai d’un mois, qu’il existe une différence substantielle de nature à nuire au respect des obligations auxquelles sont soumis les agents sportifs dans la conduite des opérations visées à l’article L. 222-7, une notification motivée est adressée au prestataire. La commission peut vérifier si les qualifications, aptitudes et connaissances du prestataire qu’il a acquises au cours de son expérience professionnelle à temps plein ou à temps partiel ou tout au long de la vie sont de nature à couvrir cette différence. Lorsque celles-ci couvrent la différence, la commission des agents sportifs de la fédération délégataire délivre une attestation selon les modalités visées au premier alinéa. Dans le cas contraire, une épreuve d’aptitude pourra être proposée au prestataire.
