In communes or groups of communes with fewer than 3,500 inhabitants, the operating board may be the municipal council.

In this case, the operating board may be chaired by the mayor or by one of its members, appointed by the mayor for this purpose.

Dans les communes ou groupements de communes de moins de 3 500 habitants, le conseil d’exploitation peut être le conseil municipal.

Dans ce cas, la présidence du conseil d’exploitation peut être assurée par le maire ou par l’un de ses membres, désigné par le maire à cet effet.
