Article R2223-67 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The managers of a funeral home, mortuary or crematorium are required to adopt internal regulations that comply with the provisions set out in this paragraph. These rules must be displayed in full view of the public in the public reception areas.

These rules shall mention in particular:

-the date on which the funeral home or crematorium was set up and the dates and procedures for inspection;

-the conditions of access and intervention of the staff mentioned in article R. 2223-69;

-the conditions for admitting deceased persons to the funeral or mortuary chamber or crematorium;

-technical facilities and safety and emergency arrangements;

Les gestionnaires d’une chambre funéraire, d’une chambre mortuaire, d’un crématorium sont tenus d’adopter un règlement intérieur conforme aux dispositions prévues par le présent paragraphe. Ce règlement doit être affiché à la vue du public dans les locaux d’accueil du public.

Ce règlement mentionne notamment :

-la date de création et les dates et modalités de contrôle de la chambre funéraire ou du crématorium ;

-les conditions d’accès et d’intervention des personnels mentionnés à l’article R. 2223-69 ;

-les conditions d’admission des défunts dans la chambre funéraire ou mortuaire ou le crématorium ;

-les aménagements techniques ainsi que les dispositifs de sécurité et de secours.
