Article R242-10 of the French Consumer Code

The following are punishable by the fine laid down for 5th class offences:
1° Failure to offer the consumer a single contract for the supply and distribution of electricity or natural gas in breach of the provisions of Article L. 224-8;
2° Refusing the consumer the benefit of one or more of the technical services offered by the network operator under the single contract in breach of the provisions of article L. 224-8;
3° Billing the consumer, under the single contract, for costs relating to network access other than those charged to him by the network operator for a service in breach of the provisions of article L. 224-8.

Article R242-10

Est puni de la peine d’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la 5e classe :
1° Le fait de ne pas proposer au consommateur un contrat unique portant sur la fourniture et la distribution d’électricité ou de gaz naturel en violation des dispositions de l’article L. 224-8 ;
2° Le fait de refuser au consommateur le bénéfice d’une ou plusieurs des prestations techniques proposées par le gestionnaire de réseau dans le cadre du contrat unique en violation des dispositions de l’article L. 224-8 ;
3° Le fait de facturer au consommateur, dans le cadre du contrat unique, des frais liés à l’accès aux réseaux autres que ceux que le gestionnaire de réseau lui a imputés au titre d’une prestation en violation des dispositions de l’article L. 224-8.
