The duties performed by the project manager referred to in article R 342-4 include at least :
a) A description of the organisation of the project ;
b) Verification that the project is suited to the terrain, particularly as regards the choice of location for stations and pylons and the type of rescue system;
c) Verification of the overall consistency of the project design, including the conditions of use of the safety subsystems and components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/424 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on cableway installations and repealing Directive 2000/9/EC ;
d) Production of the safety report provided for in Article 8 of the same Regulation;
e) Verifying that the project complies with the technical and safety regulations set out in Article R. 342-3 ;
f) Directing site meetings and drawing up the minutes;
g) Checking that the installation complies with the approved project;
h) Taking delivery of the civil engineering, including checking the tests carried out on site;
i) Directing the probationary testing of the installation;
j) Drawing up the application file for authorisation to start operating provided for in Article R. 472-15 of the French Town Planning Code.
The conditions for application of this article are specified, where necessary, by an order of the Minister responsible for transport.
