The following foodstuffs are exempt from lot identification:
1° Agricultural products which, on leaving the farm, are:
a) Either sold or delivered to storage, conditioning or packaging stations;
b) Or sent to producer organisations;
c) Or collected with a view to their immediate use in a preparation or processing process;
2° Foodstuffs, presented at the point of sale to the final consumer, which:
a) Are not pre-packaged, including when they are subsequently packaged at the request of the purchaser;
b) Are pre-packaged with a view to immediate sale;
3° Foodstuffs contained in packaging or containers, the largest surface area of which is less than 10 square centimetres;
4° Individual portions of ice cream. The indication enabling the batch to be identified must appear on the grouping packaging.
