The authority awarding the aid for professional integration appoints, either from within the authority or from a body responsible for support or integration, and mentions this in the initial decision to award the aid, a mentor responsible for monitoring the professional integration of the employee on an initiative-employment contract.

If the employee is a beneficiary of the revenu de solidarité active (active solidarity income), the advisor may be the same as the one designated under article L. 262-27 of the code de l’action sociale et des familles (social action and family code).

Article R5134-60

L’autorité qui attribue l’aide à l’insertion professionnelle désigne en son sein ou auprès d’un organisme chargé de l’accompagnement ou de l’insertion, en le mentionnant dans la décision d’attribution initiale de l’aide, un référent chargé d’assurer le suivi du parcours d’insertion professionnelle du salarié en contrat initiative-emploi.

Dans le cas où ce salarié est bénéficiaire du revenu de solidarité active, le référent peut être le même que celui désigné en application de l’article L. 262-27 du code de l’action sociale et des familles.
