Article R814-169 of the French Commercial code

The dissolution of the company shall be brought to the attention of the competent national registration and disciplinary commission and the public prosecutor. The liquidator shall send to each of them a copy of the resolution of the partners or the court decision appointing him to his duties.

The liquidator shall deposit at the registry in charge of keeping the register of commerce and companies where the company is registered, to be placed in the file opened in the name of the company, the copy of the dispatch provided for in the first paragraph of which any interested party may obtain communication.

He may not take up his duties until the aforementioned formalities have been completed.

The liquidator shall inform the persons and bodies mentioned in the first paragraph of the closure of the liquidation operations.

La dissolution de la société est portée à la connaissance de la commission nationale d’inscription et de discipline compétente et du procureur général. Le liquidateur fait parvenir à chacun d’eux une expédition de la délibération des associés ou de la décision de justice qui l’a nommé dans ses fonctions.

Le liquidateur dépose au greffe chargé de la tenue du registre du commerce et des sociétés où la société est inscrite, pour être versée au dossier ouvert au nom de la société, la copie de l’expédition prévue au premier alinéa dont tout intéressé peut obtenir communication.

Il ne peut entrer en fonctions avant l’accomplissement des formalités précitées.

Le liquidateur informe les personnes et organes mentionnés au premier alinéa de la clôture des opérations de liquidation.
