In communes or public establishments for inter-communal cooperation with 3,500 inhabitants or more, the annual report(s), as well as, where applicable, the introductory notes defined in articles D. 2224-1 to D. 2224-4, are made available to the public at the town hall and, where applicable, at the annexed town hall, or at the head office of the public establishment for inter-communal cooperation.
These elements, as well as the opinion of the town council or the deliberative assembly, are transmitted electronically to the departmental prefect and to the information system provided for in article L. 213-2 of the Environment Code, within fifteen days of their presentation to, or adoption by, the municipal council or deliberative assembly. The indicators described in annexes V and VI of this code are entered electronically into the information system provided for in article L. 213-2 of the Environment Code within the same timeframe.
The public is notified by the mayor or the president of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation of these availability by means of a poster posted in the town hall or at the head office of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation, and at the usual posting places for at least one month.
In municipalities with a website, the report on the price and quality of the public service for the prevention and management of household and similar waste is, unless its volume or characteristics do not allow it, made available to the public electronically.
