For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply:
1° “Waste”: any waste as defined in Article L. 541-1-1 of the Environment Code;
2° “Household waste”: household waste as defined in article R. 541-8 of the Environment Code;
3°”Assimilated waste”: waste collected by the public waste management service whose producer is not a household;
4°”Residual household waste”: household waste and assimilated waste collected as a mixture;
5°”Bio-waste”: bio-waste as defined in article L. 541-1-1 of the Environment Code;
6° “Sorting at source”: sorting at source as defined in Article L. 541-1-1 of the Environment Code;
7° “Collection”: any waste collection operation, including sorting and preliminary storage, with a view to transport to a waste treatment facility;
8° “Door-to-door collection”: any collection from a location as close as possible to the separating property boundaries within the limits of the technical and safety constraints of the service;
9° “Separate collection”: separate collection as defined in Article L. 541-1-1 of the Environment Code. The collection of residual household waste is not a separate collection;
10°”Collection methods”: all the technical and organisational characteristics of the collection;
11°”Agglomerated area”: any area with a continuous built-up fabric with no break of more than 200 metres between two constructions.
