The association shall check that its members comply with the obligation to take out a professional indemnity insurance policy as referred to in article L. 512-6.
It shall check in particular that this policy, where required, covers the activities of its members as insurance or reinsurance brokers or as agents of insurance intermediaries and that it meets the conditions referred to in I and II of article R. 512-14.
To this end, each member must provide the association with an annual declaration indicating the nature of its activities, the scope and amount of cover and the excesses provided for in the insurance contract taken out or the existence of a mandate exempting it from this insurance. The member shall keep the supporting documents for this declaration available to the association. They must inform the association of any change affecting the validity of this insurance or mandate.
