The General Council entrusts all or part of the implementation of the departmental authority’s tourism policy to the Mayotte Tourism Committee, particularly in the areas of : – studies, planning, development and equipment ; – aid for accommodation ; – the development, promotion and marketing of tourism products, in collaboration with professionals, organisations and any local structures involved at territorial and inter-municipal level; – technical assistance with marketing and vocational…

The Mayotte Tourist Board may join forces with regional tourist boards to undertake tourism initiatives of inter-regional, national or international interest.

The resources of the Mayotte Tourism Committee may include : 1° Subsidies and contributions of any kind from the State, the departmental authority, the municipalities and their groupings; 2° Contributions from all other interested bodies and private individuals; 3° Fees for services rendered; 4° donations and legacies.

Each year, the Mayotte Tourism Board submits its financial report to the plenary session of the General Council.
