Chapter III: Local authorities

The maximum amount of subsidies that sports associations or the companies they form pursuant to article L. 122-1 may receive, pursuant to article L. 113-2, from local authorities, their groupings or public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation, may not exceed 2.3 million euros for each sporting season in the discipline concerned.

In support of their grant applications, sports associations or the companies they form must provide the following documents: 1° Balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for the last two financial years for which the accounts have been closed, as well as a provisional budget for the sporting year for which the grant is requested; 2° A report on the use of subsidies paid by local authorities and their groupings…

The decision awarding a grant to a sports association or company mentioned in article L. 122-1 specifies the season for which the grant is awarded.

The agreement provided for in article L. 113-2 sets out the obligations of each of the parties and mentions all the sums received from the local authorities and their groupings, including those paid pursuant to article L. 113-3. It indicates, where applicable, that a representative of the local authority has been appointed to monitor the use of the grants awarded.

The maximum amount of the sums paid by local authorities or their groupings to a company mentioned in article L. 122-1 in performance of service provision contracts, or any agreement whose purpose does not fall within the scope of the general interest missions mentioned in article L. 113-2, is set at 30% of the total income of the company’s profit and loss account for the previous year, up to a…
