Accreditation is renewable for four-year periods.
Renewal is granted or refused following a procedure identical to that followed for an initial application for approval. An organisation which has not submitted the annual report referred to in Article R. 1221-22-1 in respect of each year during which it has been granted approval is not eligible for renewal of its approval.
All the documents provided for in Article R. 1221-19 shall be sent to the Prefect at least three months before the expiry of the approval.
In the absence of an application for renewal, approval lapses on expiry of the two- or four-year period for which it was issued. .
An accredited training body may not subcontract, in whole or in part, to a body that does not hold accreditation, the organisation or delivery of training related to the exercise of the mandate of a local elected representative.
