The provisions of article L. 8113-7 do not apply to the State, local authorities and their public administrative establishments. A decree in the Council of State shall determine the conditions under which the findings of the labour inspection officers mentioned in article L. 8112-1 in these establishments shall be communicated by the Minister responsible for labour to the administrations concerned.
The formal notices provided for by this code or by legal provisions relating to labour regulations and the requests for verification, measurement and analysis provided for in article L. 4722-1 are subject to procedural rules determined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
Labour inspectors take an oath not to reveal any manufacturing secrets or operating processes of which they may become aware in the course of their duties. Breach of this oath is punishable in accordance witharticle 226-13 of the French Criminal Code.
