Section 5: Rules relating to different types of practice

Any nurse who changes his or her conditions of practice, including his or her professional address, or ceases to practise, is required to notify the departmental council without delay. The latter takes note of these changes and informs the national council.

Any deliberately inaccurate or incomplete declaration made by a nurse to the Association’s departmental council may give rise to disciplinary proceedings. The same applies to the concealment of professional contracts.

All decisions taken by the College of Nurses in application of this Code of Deontology shall state the reasons on which they are based. The decisions of the departmental councils may be amended or annulled by the national council of the order, either ex officio or at the request of the parties concerned. In the latter case, the appeal must be lodged within two months of notification of the decision….
