Section 2: Regional committees for working conditions

Placed under the regional prefect, the regional committee for the orientation of working conditions participates in the development of policy guidelines for health and safety at work and the improvement of working conditions at regional level. A regional occupational health and prevention committee is set up within the committee. Its role is to provide guidance on occupational health and safety policy and the improvement of working conditions.

Placed under the authority of the Regional Prefect, the Regional Orientation Committee for Working Conditions: 1° Participates in the preparation and updating of regional diagnoses relating to working conditions and the prevention of occupational risks; 2° Participates in the preparation and monitoring of the Regional Occupational Health Plan, which is the regional version of the Occupational Health Plan.
