Section 3: National Agency for Continuing Professional Development

The members of the bodies of the Agence nationale du développement professionnel continu (National Agency for Continuing Professional Development) receive fixed allowances for their work, under conditions defined by the Agency’s Director General.

The travel expenses of the members of the bodies of the Agence nationale du développement professionnel continu are reimbursed under the conditions laid down by decree no. 2006-781 of 3 July 2006 setting the conditions and procedures for payment of expenses incurred by the temporary travel of civil servants of the State.

The members of the bodies of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development and the persons who take part in the work of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development are subject to the obligations laid down in Article L. 1451-1, Article L. 1453-3 and the first paragraph of Article L. 4113-13. At the request of the Minister for Health, the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development shall award any contract for continuing professional development services, corresponding to the priority guidelines for continuing professional development mentioned in 2° and 3° of article L. 4021-2 or to meet urgent public health needs. The independent scientific commissions are informed.
