The municipal council of each municipality that is a member of a public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation shall receive the annual report adopted by this establishment.
In each municipality that has transferred at least one of its competencies in the field of drinking water or sanitation or the prevention and management of household and similar waste to one or more public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation, the mayor presents to the municipal council, no later than twelve months following the close of the financial year concerned, the annual report(s) that he has received from the public establishment(s) for inter-municipal cooperation mentioned above. It shall indicate, in an introductory note:
– the exact nature of the service provided by this or these public establishments of intermunicipal cooperation and, where applicable, what falls under the direct management of the municipality concerned;
– the total price of water and its various components, using the indicators mentioned in Annexes V and VI of this code.
– the total price of waste prevention and management and its various components, and its financing, using the indicators mentioned in Annex XIII.
These reports are, where applicable, presented within the same timeframe to the consultative commission for local public services provided for in article L. 1413-1.
