Article L224-25-17 of the French Consumer Code

In the event of lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to have the digital content or the digital service brought into conformity or, failing that, to have the price reduced or the contract rescinded, under the conditions set out in this paragraph.

The consumer also has the right to suspend payment of all or part of the price or delivery of the benefit provided for in the contract until the trader has fulfilled his obligations under this paragraph.
The consumer also has the right to suspend payment of all or part of the price or delivery of the benefit provided for in the contract until the trader has fulfilled his obligations under this subsection, under the conditions set out in Articles 1219 and 1220 of the Civil Code.

The provisions of this sub-section are without prejudice to the award of damages.

En cas de défaut de conformité, le consommateur a droit à la mise en conformité du contenu numérique ou du service numérique ou, à défaut, à la réduction du prix ou à la résolution du contrat, dans les conditions énoncées dans le présent paragraphe.

Le consommateur a, par ailleurs, le droit de suspendre le paiement de tout ou partie du prix ou la remise de l’avantage prévu au contrat jusqu’à ce que le professionnel ait satisfait aux obligations qui lui incombent au titre de la présente sous-section, dans les conditions des articles 1219 et 1220 du code civil.
